The location of Sea Otter in Porthtowan was absolutely breathtaking. I couldn't get enough of the stunning sea view from the master bedroom. The house itself was spacious and well-equipped, perfect for my family of four. We even had easy access to the beach, which was a huge plus. The cleanliness and presentation of the property were as immaculate as the photos suggested.
There were a couple of minor drawbacks. The settee in the living room was a bit uncomfortable, and the door to the boiler didn't shut properly, causing some noise during the night.

We had a truly unforgettable stay at Sea Otter. The peaceful location and stunning views were exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The cottage itself exceeded our expectations with its spacious layout, fully equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds. We loved the back garden and front deck, perfect for enjoying al fresco dining and BBQs. The owners were incredibly helpful and responsive, even answering our late-night texts promptly. The convenience of exploring both North and South Cornwall from this central location made our trip even more enjoyable. We can't wait to return and uncover more hidden gems in the area. I highly recommend Sea Otter for a truly Cornwall experience.

The location of the property was fantastic, with beautiful views and easy access to the village and beach area. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it perfect for a family holiday. the surrounding area was quiet at night, allowing for peaceful evenings.
We did feel a bit rushed by the hosts, as they sent us departure instructions early in the morning on the second day of our stay. This gave us a sense of being hurried and took away from the relaxation we were seeking.

We had a fabulous Easter break with stunning views and a great location close to the beach. The apartment was nice and clean, and we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was compared to the photos. The underfloor heating was a bonus, keeping us warm and cozy. It was also convenient to have pubs and cafes within walking distance, making it easy to grab a bite to eat. we enjoyed our stay and made some wonderful memories.
There were a few downsides to our experience. we were disappointed that the property didn't have a garden or outdoor space for our dog.

The beachfront property offered stunning sea views, and I enjoyed the complimentary WiFi and private parking. The terrace was perfect for taking in the beautiful surroundings.
The bath towels were so tiny, it felt like I was drying off with a handkerchief.

Great views of the sea and countryside, with a convenient footpath to the beach. The owner is friendly and responsive to messages. Well-equipped kitchen, although lacking a mop for rainy days. Easy access to the village and beach, with a quiet atmosphere at night. Beautiful walk down to the beach.

Sea Otter in Porthtowan was definitely worth the money. The cottage was much bigger than expected, with a lovely underfloor heating system. The location was perfect, just a short 10-minute walk downhill to the beach, and there were pubs and cafes within walking distance. The views from the cottage were absolutely stunning and the staff were incredibly helpful and responsive, making us feel safe and secure during our stay.
The only thing that could have made the stay even better was if there were more breakfast options available.
